China's Chen Yufei reached the badminton Indonesia Open women's singles final on Saturday after compatriots Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong advanced in the mixed doubles.
Both took straight-set wins from their respective opponents. Chen downed South Korean An Se-young 21-8, 21-17, and Zheng and Huang outclassed another Chinese pair Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping 21-19, 21-10.
This was the second time Olympic champion Chen defeated the world number two this season. Earlier in May, Chen beat An in the Sudirman Cup final and sealed the third consecutive title for Team China.
Later on Saturday night, China's Li Shifeng will contest local Anthony Sinisuka Ginting for a berth in the men's singles final.
