Philippine volcano Mayon alert maintained as lava continues to spew

The Mayon volcano in the Philippines continues spewing lava and volcanic quakes have been registered, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said on Saturday.
A level-3 alert has been maintained, the agency, which also recorded 280 rockfall events over past 24 hours, added.
