Tens of thousands of glutinous millet dumplings wrapped with quercus dentate tree leaves were arranged in patterns to form the images of a huge flying dragon at Laojun Mountain in Henan Province, a mountain sacred in Taoism that has rich flora and grand natural beauty. For the Duanwu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival, local people make dumplings wrapped in quercus dentate tree leaves filled with glutinous millet, azuki beans and dates instead of the traditional zongzi wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves.
