At least 79 migrants drowned on June 14, and hundreds more are still missing, after an overloaded fishing boat capsized off the coast of Greece. Authorities are calling it one of the worst disasters of its kind this year. The Greek government announced a three-day period of national mourning for the victims.

CGTN rushed to the Greek port city of Kalamata to record the rescue work. Rescuers said that the survivors are currently in stable condition. However, psychological support is urgently needed.
