Boasting a history of more than 100 years, Qingdao Railway Station is a famous landmark and popular tourist spot in the city. The station was first built in 1900 under the design of German engineers. In 1991, the old station was demolished and a new one was built on the original site. The station has been dubbed as one of the most beautiful of its kind in the country.
