A special program of China Media Group (CMG) for Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu or Duanyang Festival, will be broadcast on June 22. We visit the hometown of Qu Yuan, a great patriotic poet from the Warring States Period (475-221 B.C.), in Zigui County, central China's Hubei Province. With the theme of "Eulogize Duanyang along the Yangtze River," the program showcases traditional Chinese culture and people's lives through various art forms such as sing and dancing, operas, poem reciting, symphonies and folk music.
