China on Monday urged the Canadian side to immediately stop interfering in China's internal affairs under the pretext of human rights, and stop conniving and supporting Xizang separatist forces.
Slamming the report published by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development of Canada, a spokesperson of the Chinese Embassy in Canada said that the report, which is based on fabricated lies of the anti-China forces, is a flagrant and malicious vilification of the southwestern region's human rights situation, and a rude interference in China's internal affairs.
China will definitely respond resolutely and forcefully if the Canadian side insists on going down the wrong path, the spokesperson added.
