Chinese Premier Li Qiang kicked off his first trip to Europe since taking office in March. He met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin on Monday. The premier said he attached great importance to the bilateral relations. President Steinmeier expressed Berlin's willingness to collaborate with Beijing in safeguarding trade liberalization and coping with challenges such as climate change.
