The 15th Straits Forum took place in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province, from June 16 to June 17. The forum is an important platform for promoting cooperation and people-to-people exchanges across the Taiwan Straits. This year's theme is expanding people-to-people exchanges and deepening integrative development between the Chinese mainland and the island of Taiwan. The brand effect of the forum on both sides of the Taiwan Straits is becoming increasingly prominent. CGTN Stringer interviewed Taiwan residents about their knowledge of the forum as well as the cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation.
