Boasting a long history, zongzi are traditional sticky rice dumplings that are usually eaten in China during the Duanwu Festival, or Dragon Boat Festival. They appear in a wide range of varieties, from shape to filling. Multicolored zongzi, bamboo tube zongzi, zongzi with meat fillings and zongzi added with pickled chili are just some to name a few. You will certainly be spoilt for choice over the festival.
