A total of 108 prints from the Louvre Chalcographie have been exhibited at the Meet You Museum in Beijing's 798 Art Zone, bringing the masterpieces of the Louvre closer to viewers in China. Founded in 1797, the Louvre Chalcographie holds over 14,000 engraved copper plates that were used to make prints, with the aim of widening access to the Louvre's artworks. Each plate is housed in the museum archives and is used to make prints on museum-quality paper upon request.
