The Village Super League (VSL), or "Cun Chao" in Chinese, is a rural football tournament held in Rongjiang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Organized and contested by local villagers, this grassroots tournament has become a hit in China thanks to its festive atmosphere and frequent spectacular goals. According to local government statistics, the average attendance of "Cun Chao" matches exceeds 10,000.
