The Yarlung Zangbo River takes a grand horseshoe-shaped turn in Medog County, Xizang Autonomous Region. The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon was created at the turn, encompassing snow-capped peaks, glaciers and forests, as well as hot springs, clear streams and cascading waterfalls.
