Throughout history, civilizations have evolved, crossed paths and made connections that go beyond borders. In CGTN's special program "Civilization and Imagination: A Glimpse of China's Path," Djoomart Otorbaev, former prime minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, says the key word that he want to highlight is history, because historians can still rediscover new facts and ideas from written history. Otorbaev also notes that new treasures can always be found in the ancient Chinese canon.
