All five people in the missing Titan submersible are dead, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Officials said the debris found during the search for the vessel "is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel."
The passengers were British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani-born business magnate Shahzada Dawood, his 19-year-old son Suleman, leading Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet and Stockton Rush, founder and CEO of OceanGate, the company that owns the vessel.
