World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain played his "best match on grass" so far to reach the men's singles semifinals over Bulgarian veteran Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-4 at the Queen's Club on Friday, setting up a match with American Sebastian Korda.
"Considering the three tournaments that I played on grass, I could say that was my best match," said Alcaraz, who reached the round of 16 at last year's Wimbledon Championships, and only the second round in 2021.
Alcaraz had 10 winners in the first set to Dimitrov's four but trailed the former Queen's champion 3-0 in the second before finding his rhythm and roaring back to win.
The other semifinal will take place between Denmark's Holger Rune and Alex de Minaur of Australia.
