Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has called for efforts to find an alternative currency to the U.S. dollar, to end the greenback's dominance in global trade. The president made the call on Friday at the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris, France, which was chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and attended by more than 60 heads of state, government and major international organizations.
