At least three people are dead and multiple others hospitalized after two early morning shootings in Missouri on Sunday, local media reported citing police.

Police responded to a shooting in Kansas City at about 3 a.m. local time. The number of injured is not currently known, but some are in critical condition, local media KSHB-TV said.

Three people were killed in another shooting in the city that happened at about 4:30 a.m.

Both incidents are under investigation.
