A popular horse racing event was held in Shangri-la, the capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province. It took place during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday. Horse racing is one of the most popular activities in China's Tibetan communities.
