Monday is the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, marked every year on June 26 since it was established by the United Nations in 1989. CGTN reporter Yang Jinghao visited a checkpoint in a border region in southwest China to learn how police officers there work to detect and seize illegal drugs.
