An explosion of tens of millions of butterflies has recently appeared in a local valley of southwest China's Yunnan Province, presenting a breathtaking sight. During the boom period from May to August each year, tens of millions of butterflies will burst forth from chrysalises in the valley of Yuanjiang County. More than one million larvae are expected to morph into butterflies every day.
