Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos. He said China has room and potential for further development. Qu Qiang, a research fellow at Beijing Foreign Studies University, points out that China's economy staying stable is always a positive signal for the global supply chain. China's high-quality development provides good opportunities for the rest of the world to upgrade the value chain, he adds.
