Peace and stability should be cherished more in the wake of experiencing anxiety caused by conflicts and instability, Chinese Premier Li Qiang said at the opening ceremony of the Summer Davos Forum in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Tuesday.

Li stressed that what the world need is communication rather than estrangement, cooperation rather than confrontation, openness rather than isolation, and peace rather than conflict.
