WEF co-chair: China remains an important engine of global GDP

Nonkululeko Nyembezi, chairman of Standard Bank Group and co-chair of the World Economic Forum's 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, expressed her views to CGTN regarding the speech delivered by Chinese Premier Li Qiang at the "Summer Davos" on Tuesday. Nyembezi said that China will remain a crucial driver of global GDP and highlighted that the most significant hurdle for global economic recovery is the decoupling of economies. She advocated tackling these challenges through technology and cooperation.
