Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh in Beijing on Tuesday. "It is a fine tradition for the leaders of the two parties and countries of China and Vietnam to visit each other like relatives," Xi said. He also stressed that China and Vietnam should work together for common development and aim to bring more stability to a turbulent and intertwined world. Pham said the Communist Party and State of Vietnam always give the highest political support to the Communist Party of China Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core and the new leadership of China.
