The Chinese mainland has decided to resume the entry of cherimoya, or sugar apples, from the Taiwan region starting June 20. The move was criticized by the Democratic Progress Party (DPP) authorities in Taiwan. China's State Council Taiwan Affairs Office said the DPP has stigmatized help from the mainland.
