In a village near Dazhou, southwest China's Sichuan Province, the apricots have entered their harvesting period. Local villagers are racing against time as they busily pick and pack these savory fruits and deliver them to customers across the country.
The planting of apricots is part of the village's innovative plan to increase the incomes of local farmers. A planting base established in the village has provided more than 300 new jobs.
