China-Africa expo emerges as key platform for promoting trade

The ongoing third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo has emerged as a major platform for promoting trade between China and Africa, bringing more "Made in Africa" products into the Chinese market. Themed "Common Development for a Shared Future," the four-day event brings together 1,500 exhibitors and 1,590 types of products from 29 countries.

Launched in 2019, the expo has become a major platform for strengthening economic and trade cooperation between China and African countries. According to the customs authorities, China has now become the second largest destination for African agricultural exports. During the expo, a series of activities will be held, including high-level forums, business matchmaking events, symposiums and others.
