French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday said that additional security forces would be deployed to contain nationwide unrest in the wake of the killing of a teen by police.

Addressing a crisis meeting of ministers, he said "additional means" would be mobilized by the interior ministry to deal with the violent protests, denouncing the "unacceptable exploitation of a death of an adolescent".
