The Republic of Malawi has opened a consulate general in Changsha, the capital of southern China's Hunan Province. This is Malawi's first consulate general in China. Malawian President Lazarus Chakwera and the Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Shen Xiaoming, attended the inauguration ceremony on Thursday.
