Florence, the home of the Renaissance art and architecture. Its duomo is the city's most iconic landmark. Capped by red-tiled cupola, it's a staggering construction whose breathtaking pink, white and green marble facade and graceful campanile dominate the Renaissance cityscape. It took almost 150 years to complete the structure, one of the five largest churches in the world.
