The Chinese Consulate-General in Marseille confirmed on Saturday that several passengers suffered minor injuries after a tourist bus carrying Chinese passengers was besieged and attacked by a group of assailants in Marseille on Thursday, according to China Media Group.

The consulate-general said it coordinated with local police for evacuation, and all the passengers returned to their hotel safely that night.
