The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) sent a defense strategy consultation delegation to the United Kingdom and France from June 24 to July 1 to discuss the development of respective bilateral defense relations, the Chinese Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The delegation also engaged in an in-depth exchange of views on regional and international issues of common concern with the British and French sides, the ministry added, and hence enhanced mutual understanding and trust.
