The Philippine Press Delegation is in China for a two-week tour to gain an in-depth understanding of China's high-quality development, culture, and the future of smart driving and cities. The delegation toured Baidu's Apollo Park on Wednesday, taking a short ride on open roads in automated vehicles. They asked questions about the potential of bringing such cars to the Philippines, and discussed the need for better infrastructure. They also said they look forward to bringing Chinese innovation to their country. On Thursday, the group visited the Future Science City to discover what the smart city will look like, and how China uses the metaverse in education and health.
