The 43rd Chinese naval escort task force, which is on an escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and waters off Somalia, wrapped up a four-day friendly visit to Ghana on Saturday, after conducting military and cultural exchanges. The flotilla, which docked at the country's largest port of Tema, is composed of the guided missile destroyer Nanning, the guided missile frigate Sanya and the integrated supply ship Weishanhu. More than 200 people, including personnel from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana, representatives of Chinese-funded institutions, overseas Chinese and representatives of the Ghanaian Navy, saw off the naval formation.
