Thousands of bar-headed geese have arrived at Qinghai Lake to lay eggs and raise their fledglings in Gangcha County, northwest China's Qinghai Province. Many young geese have already started to learn to swim from their mothers. The bar-headed goose is a second-class protected migratory bird in China, and around 6,000 of them migrate to Qinghai Lake every year.
