A cold-chain train carrying Thai durians arrived in Zhengzhou City on Sunday after a six-day trip through the Thailand-Laos-China freight route. This is the first time for Henan Province to import fruits from Southeast Asia through this route. A cold-chain train requires less time and cost as compared to shipping or expressway transport. This route is a green, safe, economical and efficient freight channel linking central China with the ASEAN region.
