On the evening of July 2, due to convective weather, a sand storm hit Hami City of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, bringing the horrible scenes in the video filmed by local residents. The clear sky was obscured by sand and dust, and gradually dissipated after about an hour and a half.
