Cui Tiankai, former Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., responded at the 11th World Peace Forum on Monday to recent remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Cui stated that China has never expected the U.S. to say or do things to please it, and China has never promised to say or do things that the U.S. will like. He emphasized that the key for both sides is to find a true way to respect each other and peacefully coexist.
