When Xi Jinping was working in north China's Zhengding County in the 1980s, he made relentless efforts to restore Longxing Temple, one of the largest and most complete Buddhist architectural complexes in China. He said, "Historical and cultural heritage sites uncover the history of the Chinese nation, and they not only belong to our generation but also to future generations."
