Chinese President Xi Jinping says that he hopes sinologists can promote more cultural exchanges, friendship and cooperation between China and the rest of the world. Teng Jimeng, senior research fellow at the China Center for Globalization, says that cultural continuity and innovation are mutually comprehensible and can contribute to each other in a healthy manner.
