Exploring Chinese civilization: Malaysian youth fascinated by Chinese culture

Malaysian student Yew Jing Yee (Jolin) studies in the Department of Electronics at Tsinghua University in Beijing. As a Chinese Malaysian, she had always wanted to visit China. Her story with China began with the Tsinghua University International Excellent High School Student Summer Program, in which she participated in as a high school student. The hospitality of Chinese people, the diverse and profound Chinese culture, and the vast territory of China all strengthened her yearning to study in China.
As an electronics major, Yew Jing Yee hopes that in the near future, she can contribute to the cooperation between China and Malaysia through her professional knowledge in the field of electronics.
