Ukraine disconnected the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (NPP) at night from the main external power supply, and the station was operating from a backup line, RIA news agency reported on Tuesday, citing Renat Karchaa, an adviser to the general director of the Russian nuclear energy company Rosenergoatom.
There has been no response from Ukraine as yet.
