Senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi has urged Asian countries to cultivate strategic independence and maintain regional unity and stability. He made the remarks at a meeting of government representatives from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea on Monday. They met in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao for the International Forum for Trilateral Cooperation.
