China resolutely opposes U.S. arms sales to Taiwan region: military spokesperson

China's Ministry of National Defense voiced firm opposition to the United States' arms sales to China's Taiwan region.
China has lodged solemn representations to the U.S., Tan Kefei, a spokesperson for the ministry, said on Wednesday.
