Sudanese fleeing violence arrive in Gadaref, capital of Sudan's eastern state of Gadaref, July 3, 2023. /CFP
Over 2.2 million people are internally displaced in Sudan, and 697,151 people have fled to neighboring countries since violence broke out in the country in April, according to a report by the International Organization of Migration (IOM) on Wednesday.
