The Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin shows that China is open for business and investment. Fittingly, many political and business leaders attending the forum in Tianjin arrived after taking a 30-minute high-speed rail ride from the Chinese capital Beijing. Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry said the speed of the Beijing-Tianjin intercity rail link would have been unthinkable 30 years ago, which exemplifies China's rapid development. He also highlighted that the Summer Davos in Tianjin is for finding solutions, not just talking about challenges. Sabry added that China's strides in technology and poverty alleviation offer an example for other nations along the Belt and Road Initiative to learn from.
