The Chinese Badminton Association on Wednesday announced the 20-person roster for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games.

Leading the roster are men's singles world number five and ten, Shi Yuqi, Li Shifeng; women's singles world number three and five, Chen Yufei, He Bingjiao; women's doubles world number one, Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan; and top-ranked mixed doubles pair, Zheng Siwei and Huang Yaqiong.

The male team underwent major changes; only three played the last edition, and the rest are debutantes. Meanwhile, the female squad remains mostly unchanged compared to five years ago as they eye the women's team event title after losing to Team Japan 3-1 last time.
