China on Thursday once again urged the Japanese side to halt the plan to discharge nuclear wastewater into the sea, emphasizing the need to avoid imposing unpredictable risks on the international community.
Japan did not adequately consult with the international community, particularly stakeholders, regarding its ocean discharge plan, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin during a regular news conference.
