The animal kingdom is not about to miss out on International Kissing Day on July 6, as bird, reptile and mammal couples alike share an intimate moment.
Having originated in the UK and then gaining global momentum in the early 2000s, the day aims to promote an understanding of the benefits and simple pleasures of kissing, beyond social formalities. From parks and nature reserves, to oceans and mountain tops, the pecks of animal couples are on full display in nature.
